I am also having the same problems as the original postal service. My install is a make clean install after an upgrade of Windows ten Pro. My figurer is joined to my AD domain, I have three other computers all configured the same and have the error messages showing on them aswell.

I accept tried logging into the xbox app on Windows ten and also adding my Microsoft account to my contour but both of these likewise fail fifty-fifty with a different Microsoft account.

I accept had this result and I have recently figured out a fashion how to ready information technology.

I went through alive support and they were unable to help me out. Even so I figured that I was able to sign-in using different e-mail accounts but not with the one linked to my account.

So what I have done was,

- I linked some other email account and made information technology as an Administrator (Settings/Accounts/Family & Other users/Add together someone else to this PC)

- I logged in with the new account and deleted the Microsoft account and deleted all the synchronized Data (Settings/)

- I signed in with a local business relationship (Settings/Accounts/Your Business relationship/Sign in with a local account instead)

- Deleted the new electronic mail I recently added

- Log in on windows shop, xbox, etc.... But set up everything up

- Then Link it with your electronic mail address (Settings/Accounts/Your business relationship)

This worked for me. Expert luck.

Thank you for the workaround Joseph, I'm glad it worked for you, but information technology sounds like more work than information technology's worth.

Hopefully Microsoft can come up upwardly with an actual solution to this problem.

I have the aforementioned/similar problem.

I upgraded a win 7 ultimate machine to win ten pro and fix it up with a local business relationship.

I near immediately discovered that I could access zero that requires a Microsoft business relationship.

I cannot catechumen my computer from a local to a Microsoft account [not that I particularly desire to

but it's potentially noteworthy that that functionality isn't working] and cannot log into my Microsoft

account in any app, including the x-box app and the windows store.

My experience with the windows store is as described in the OP.

My experience of trying to switch to a Microsoft account instead of a local business relationship is that you get

through the entire setup procedure, reach the stop, it thinks about information technology for a moment telling yous that

you lot will have to log out and so dorsum in.... And then, nothing happens.

I tried chatting to a Microsoft back up engineer who claimed that it was a problem due to the servers being

overstressed... This is now very evidently not the case.

EDIT: Actually I may have just institute a solution...

Looking in services I noticed that "Microsoft Business relationship Sign-in Banana" service was disabled.

Enabling that service seems to have stock-still the trouble...

No idea why it was disabled, I certainly never disabled information technology.

I checked in Services and "Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant" was enabled and running. I still can't sign into the store. I upgraded a Windows 7 64-bit Professional person machine.

I had a very similar event, I fixed it past signing in with a local business relationship (Settings/Accounts/Your Business relationship), downloading an app off the shop, and signing dorsum into my Microsoft account(Settings/Accounts/Your Business relationship).

I can now download apps without issue

Same issue. MS needs to effigy out a fix for this.

Pretty surprising so many people have this consequence but still no response from the support team.
