Marc Jacobs Beauty Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter Review

How to use:

Packaging:
Marc Jacobs packaging is so gorgeous and definitely reflects the brand itself.  The dew drops accept the same packaging every bit their foundation with the frosted glass bottle, rounded hat which you just pop off and a nice pump inside.  I wish the pump's spring wasn't so tight considering it'due south kind of difficult to get merely one-half a pump, especially with this potent highlighter.

Color/ Pigmentation:
On the website, "dew you" isdescribed as a golden peach shade just I would describe this as a neutral tone sandy golden shade with super fine golden shimmers.  A niggling bit goes a long long way, so exist careful or else you'll await like your controlling air traffic with the glow on your face.

Texture/ End:
Usually, I would become for highlighters that have more of a natural sheen and less in the shimmer section.  The dew drops have a very alien finish with its super fine shimmer stop but the shimmers are quite noticeable as well.  I've tried mixing this into a foundation but information technology was barely noticeable. The texture is like a thick gel and it isn't super bendable since it dries down and clings onto your face up quite fast. I've tried to sparse it down with watery primers but the effect wasn't the same either.

I've too tried the dew drops underneath foundation but I didn't like the fact that information technology would sit on the face and just wouldn't let me alloy.  So nowadays, I've only been using information technology on top of foundation and practical with a stippling brush to become an fifty-fifty application.

When used sparingly, information technology looks quite overnice and kind of reminds me of Mac's soft and gentle just a libation version with more gold undertones.

Lasting power:
Considering the formula is oddly dry once blended into the pare, it lasts on my dry peel on average most six hours before it somewhat fades but I yet come across it after a whole ten hour solar day.

Fragrance?:
Just similar the proper noun states, this product smells just similar coconut oil and I kinda dig it.  Wow should I say jive turkey too LOL, I dig I dig.  Smell-o-scale: 6/x in terms of how strong the scent is only the olfactory property fades after application.

Con:
-must be applied with a stipple brush if y'all don't want a chunky await
-only one shade in the dew drop line

Repurchase?:
Maybe but almost likely not.

Overall thoughts:
I really wished I liked this product a lot more but due to the odd texture and the way it sits on my skin and isn't super bendable, I'd have to give this an average rating of 3/5.  The terminate is gorgeous and the glow it gives the skin is addicting, simply it is too finicky for me to desire to take hold of it on a daily basis.  Overall this product personally didn't work out too well but perchance test it out in stores to run into if information technology suits y'all.
